The Texas Association of Collegiate Financial Education Professionals (TACFEP) was formed in 2013 to provide financial education professionals throughout higher education in Texas with a statewide association and network. It is important that we, as higher education professionals, keep up-to-date on the latest issues, trends and resources available in order to work most effectively with students on issues concerning personal financial management.
Who should become a member?
Educators, coordinators, directors, counselors, faculty, and other program staff engaged in creating, providing, or supporting personal finance education for college students.
Why should you become a member?
Becoming a member allows you to interact with, network, and learn from colleagues engaged in empowering students through financial education from a variety of higher education settings. Depending on your membership level, most memberships include nominating and voting privileges within the association, participation in meetings and professional development programs, subscription to all TACFEP publications and all regular communications, membership on committees, and holding elected office in TACFEP.
How can I become a member?
TACFEP Membership runs from June 1st to May 31st each year. There are membership levels for every budget and institution type.
